Ceremony

We had a beautiful ceremony at the Chapel of Mary,
Mother of Compassion, on Saturday, July 29th, 2006, at 2:30 in the afternoon. Our priest was Friar Dominic McGee and
he kept the whole congregation roaring with laugther throughout his homily. It was a beautiful service.
We had Marg Spooner as our pianist, David Hale as cantor, the Sunday
choir as singers, and a group of close friends distributed communion and took care of hospitality.
This chapel is very important to us. Dan has been going to Sunday
mass here for 8 years, and I have been going since I moved to Kingston. For approximately 2 years, Dan and I have
been ministers of hospitality here. We also occasionally help out at the social hour after mass. Dan's parents
are in the choir.
The people at our chapel are very friendly. They are also accepting
of everyone, which to us, is one of the greatest values of the Christian faith.* We were extremely happy to have our wedding
ceremony at our chosen place of worship.
* See John 8:7, John 13:34, Mark 2:15 - 17, Matthew 7:12, Matthew 22:39, Matthew
9:10-13, Matthew 11:19, Luke 6:31 - 6:34, Luke 15:1-10 and especially Matthew 25:36-45.
Reception

The receptionw was held at the Italo-Canadian Club of
Kingston on Saturday, July 29th, 2006. It was a great party and everyone seemed to enjoy the dancing.
We thank Tuan Bui for putting together some amazing music for the reception,
as well as for being one of our MCs. We also thank Tiago and Andrezza Falk for MC'ing.
